The basic assumptions of COM
Summarizing the above, out of the referred scientific foundations the following basic assumptions can be derived:
The management of SME achieves to support innovation and growth of the company, since
- vision, strategy and goals are build on competences, which are increasingly demanded by the market.
- the company’s resources of knowledge and competence are purposely supported and used.
- an open corporate culture is lived, which creates learning- improvement- and innovation processes by means of active participation of all employees in the sense of a learning organization.
„Competence-based Management“ goes beyond HR-development due to its integrative perspective.
